Part-Time Self Storage Assistant

We’re offering a part-time role with flexible hours between 16 and 32 per week. Some core hours must be covered, Friday 10.00am -5.30pm, Saturday 8.15am – 1.00pm and Sunday 9.45am – 12.00pm. We’re happy to discuss flexibility and what could work for the right person.

Every day is different! We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, customer-focused Self Storage Assistant to join our friendly team.

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and reservations while helping keep the facility running smoothly, clean and well presented.

Some flexibility will be needed to provide holiday cover when required. Pro rata holiday entitlement applies.

What the role involves

• Welcoming and assisting customers
• Handling reception, phone and email enquiries
• Processing reservations, rentals and customer paperwork
• Opening and closing the facility as a key holder
• Keeping the site clean, tidy, safe and well presented
• Cleaning vacated storage units and helping with general warehouse duties

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• Friendly, professional and confident speaking to customers
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Positive, practical and happy to get stuck in
• Experienced in customer service and/or retail sales
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and learning new systems
• Physically able to carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks
• A full UK driving licence holder
• Living within around 20 minutes’ drive of WR12 7HZ
• Comfortable around dogs

Pay:

• £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
